How to use these NAPLEX HIV practice exams
These two exams cover antiretroviral brands and components, opportunistic infections, drug interactions, PrEP and PEP, monitoring, pregnancy and medication safety. In the NAPLEX Content Outline, regimen selection, interactions, special populations and monitoring fall mainly under Domain 3, Person-Centered Assessment and Treatment Planning (about 40% of scored questions), while knowing drug names and components is part of Domain 2, the Medication Use Process.
- Learn first in Study mode. Take Exam 1 in Study mode and read every explanation, including the ones for questions you answered correctly.
- Then check yourself in Timed mode. Take Exam 2 in Timed mode in one sitting, without notes, as your HIV checkpoint.
- Review misses by reason, not only by topic, with the 5S mock-review method: a knowledge gap, a calculation setup, a missed clue in the case, or a tempting distractor.
