Privacy Policy
RxBoardPrep (“I”, “me”, “my”) is operated by Talha Shafique, PharmD, MPH. This policy explains what information I collect through rxboardprep.com, why I collect it, and what you can do about it.
Information I collect
Information you give me directly. When you contact me, enrol in a program, or email me, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, and details about your exam timeline and educational background. I collect this because I cannot teach you or answer you without it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, and the site you arrived from. This is used to understand what content is useful and to keep the site secure.
Practice exam activity. If you take a practice exam on this site, your answers and score are processed in your browser to produce your result. Free practice exams require no sign-up and no account.
Cookies. This site uses cookies for essential functions (such as remembering that you have entered a page password) and for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may stop working correctly if you do.
How I use your information
- To deliver the courses, materials, and practice exams you have enrolled in
- To answer your questions and provide coaching and support
- To send you information about your cohort, schedule, and materials
- To send occasional updates about programs and exam-prep content, if you have asked to receive them
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who I share information with
I share information only with service providers who help me run the business, and only to the extent they need it: website hosting (Hostinger), payment processing (I never see or store your full card number), email and communication tools, and analytics providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
I may also disclose information where I am legally required to — for example in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or lawful government request.
How long I keep it
I keep enrolment and payment records for as long as required by tax and accounting law. I keep general enquiry correspondence for up to two years. You can ask me to delete your information sooner and I will, unless I am legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time, or request a copy in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email hafiz.rph@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days. I will not discriminate against you for making a request.
International students
RxBoardPrep serves internationally trained pharmacists worldwide. If you access this site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from the law where you live. By using this site you consent to that transfer.
Children
This site is intended for pharmacy graduates and licensed professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided me information, email me and I will delete it.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will change. Material changes affecting enrolled students will be communicated by email.
